Mykonos Tour is an organized Mykonos Town & Island Tour (Duration: 4 hours).

Explore Mykonos, the most known of the Greek islands and one of the world's most popular holiday resorts, with the blue sky, the beautiful whitewashed organic cube-like houses.
Start with a walking tour of Mykonos Town through the narrow white-washed streets and experience the beauty of the Cycladic fishing village that it once was.
You will see the lovely churches, the charming shops, Little Venice, the Windmills and Petros the Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos.

After this we are exploring the island with a bus, visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner island's landscape. We see fishermen and their wooden boats (kaikis), small private chapels and houses built in typical Cycladic style.

In the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place 6 km from town, where the guests have enough free time to stroll around the traditional square and visit the monk monastery Panagia Tourliani built in the 16th century.

Next stop is Kalafatis beach were there is time to relax a little and have a coffee or a refreshment (not included in the price), before going back to town and to reach a place with a fantastic view all over the town and neighboring islands.

Ground transportation and walking directions

BELOW: The Piazzale Roma (where you can catch buses and land taxis to the airport) is a short walk from the railroad station (top marker). Also see route overview map.

Getting from Venice's Venezia Santa Lucia Railroad Station to Venice Marco Polo Airport is simple, although it does require a short walk unless you're willing to spring for a horrendously expensive water taxi. Here are step-by-step directions:

By airport bus:

  1. Leave the station by the main entrance (or by the side door, if you have wheeled luggage, a stroller, or a wheelchair and want to avoid the steps).

  2. Turn right and walk along the water to the Ponte della Costituzione, or Calatrava Bridge, which is only a minute or two from the station.

  3. Cross the bridge to the Piazzale Roma.

  4. In the Piazzale Roma, take the ATVO "Venezia Express" airport coach or the more crowded ACTV No. 5 "Aerobus" to Marco Polo Airport. (Travel time will be about 20 minutes.) For fares and other information, see our Venice Airport Buses article.

By land taxi:

  1. Follow steps 1, 2, and 3 above.

  2. Hire a land taxi in the Piazzale Roma.
